從我們獵頭公司的角度看這篇英文簡歷,感覺還是不錯的。可以用這樣幾個字來概括:條理比較清晰,結(jié)構(gòu)比較完整,用詞也比較規(guī)范。如果說還有哪些地方需要提高的話,可能在“賣點(diǎn)”上需要花一點(diǎn)功夫。從比較專業(yè)的眼光去品判一篇英文簡歷,我想簡單概括以下幾點(diǎn),也可為想寫好英文簡歷的經(jīng)理人作參考:
1 英文簡歷的格式其實(shí)很簡單,可以根據(jù)自己的經(jīng)驗和專業(yè)能力搞得新穎一點(diǎn)。但基本上不外乎以下幾個要素,如:

E-mail:
Objective:
Summary:
Professional Experience:
Education:
Qualifications &Professional Designations:
Hobbies(If need):
在Professional Experience 之前的要素,描述不用太長篇,高度概括即可。面試人,特別是老外,可從中看出你的英文概括能力(長句的使用)。
2、英文簡歷中,專業(yè)經(jīng)驗、經(jīng)歷(Professional Experience)部分是重頭戲。因為這個部分是面試人最感興趣和關(guān)心的,以后即使在面試時,也差不多圍繞這個在說話。寫簡歷的人需要花大“手筆”去描述這個部分。 怎樣才能描述好,要抓住以下幾個關(guān)鍵:
工作職責(zé)Responsibility。
工作業(yè)績Achievement: 如完成了多少指標(biāo),如何完成的?管理多少人,利潤提高了多少?等等。
在A,B 中,要不厭其煩地用比較數(shù)字說明問題,因為獵頭或面試人可能對你的專業(yè)不很了解,但每一個人都對跳躍的數(shù)字感興趣,并且記得住,如:團(tuán)隊由最初的3人發(fā)展到現(xiàn)在的15人,經(jīng)銷商由99年的3家擴(kuò)展到2001年的23家等等。
不要光寫成功經(jīng)驗,也要提及曾經(jīng)走過的彎路和失敗。最好是寫一個例子,說明原先某個事件看上去已經(jīng)失敗,但通過你的努力,提高很快,很顯著,你也從中學(xué)到很多。告訴面試人或?qū)懺诤啔v上你是通過哪些辦法去改變的。老外往往對這一些很感興趣,因為走過彎路再成功的人更吸引人,也對他的公司更具有實(shí)際操作意義。
這個部分用詞也有講究,能令人興奮和印象深刻的詞很多,如:rebuild up, developed, exceed, participated, enhanced, coordinated, conducted, assisted processed, implemented, management,prepared, consolidated, contributed more than % for, over, revenue, growth, excellent performance,top,strategy, awarded, significant increase, milestones, etc.

Qualification & Professional designation 這兩部分,可按照標(biāo)準(zhǔn)的一些格式如實(shí)附上,如:

4 最后一個部分可以簡單寫一些你的個人愛好(Hobbies)和個人情況(Personal Information).面試時,面試人(包括很多老外),通過對你這部分看似平常的,非工作性的情況的了解,(特別是請高級管理層),更能評估你這個人目前的狀態(tài)和你對社會、家庭的一些看法,以及看出你解決一些實(shí)際問題的思路和能力。
總體來講,寫英文簡歷并不難,難的是要贏得面試。我們經(jīng)常在上面的討論中談到面試人和我們獵頭對這份簡歷的看法。任何一篇文章,不在長短,也不在形式花俏,而在于它的特點(diǎn)和賣點(diǎn)。而且特點(diǎn)和賣點(diǎn)在一開始的時候就應(yīng)該顯現(xiàn)出來。就像1999年風(fēng)險投資盛行時,你如果想吸引風(fēng)險投資家的目光,你必需在開場白的5分鐘內(nèi)讓人對你的項目感興趣,在45秒內(nèi)讓人明白你要做什么,簡歷只是把這種表白書面化了。任何一個看你簡歷的獵頭和面試人都希望在最短的時間內(nèi)知道你的特點(diǎn)和賣點(diǎn),都喜歡一個能給他們帶來與眾不同的人,能給他們帶來別人所沒有的東西。如果你的簡歷在這點(diǎn)上作了文章,可能幸運(yùn)之星已經(jīng)在向你招手了,也已經(jīng)有人對你動心了。
